Australasian Housing Institue Asset Management

This housing asset management planning conference will be held in Wellington, New Zealand in late November 2008. The last conference was in Brisbane 2006. The Conference will be held on the theme of Towards best practice in social housing asset management.
Discussions are still at an early stage, but possible topic areas are:

o Condition assessment
o Asset Planning
o Design
o Compliance
o Sustainability
o Getting best value
o Contracting
o Energy efficiency
o Sustainability
o Healthy homes
o Contracting models

The focus of the Conference will be on best practice; the do's and don'ts and to share experiences of what works and what doesn't work.
