Australasian Housing Institute is the professional association of people working and volunteering in social housing in and . Our purpose is to support people working in social housing achieve excellence in their work, and the best possible outcomes for their clients and local communities, and for their organisations. We are the only organisation to focus on the entire social housing system and we draw together the various disciplines playing a role in the modern system.

AHURI's mission is to make a real difference to housing and related urban outcomes throughout Australia by the creation and dissemination of knowledge in housing markets, housing policy and programs, and the urban environment in cities, towns and regions.
