Did you know that validation analysis provides a simple way to verify that component condition grades have been properly assessed by the surveyor, and that they have been entered into the system correctly.
- Select properties to be validated.
- Select validate data from the Analysis menu option:
- A list of all components with possible discrepancies between the assessed remaining life and the condition grade will be displayed.
- The condition grade and the assessed remaining life coloured red are the values entered by the surveyor.
- The condition grade in black is the new condition grade suggested by the system.
- The new condition grade has been derived by comparing the component base life and the surveyor’s assessed remaining life.
To update component condition grades:
- If the new condition grades proposed by the system are to be accepted:
- Tick the check boxes next to the selected components.
- Click the update button at the bottom of the screen.
- If alternative remaining lives or condition grades are to be entered:
- Click on the line item to be altered to display a component update window.
- Enter the new condition grades or assessed remaining lives.
- Click the save button at the bottom of the screen.
